Villa Beluger Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Set in the heart of a beautiful residential area of Trebaluger in the southeast of the island, Villa Beluger is a charming, traditional-style property accommodating up to twelve guests across six bedrooms – perfect for groups of friends or two or more families holidaying together.
This beautiful villa is incredibly stylish, marrying modern and rustic styles for a stunning country-retreat aesthetic and featuring bright, spacious rooms filled with pretty design features and great amenities. The interior decor is light and neutral, with lots of rich wood accents and shades of cream, taupe and white. The cosy lounge space provides the perfect place for relaxing with your loved ones, with comfortable, squashy sofas, an open fireplace, and a flatscreen TV for your entertainment. The fresh, natural theme continues through into the villa’s separate indoor dining space, which is complete with a solid wooden table for enjoying family meals, and an adjacent open kitchen space, which is well equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay.
Four of the villa’s six bedrooms can be found on the ground floor; two doubles and two twins – ideal for couples with children who would find it more convenient to all sleep on the same level. Both double rooms enjoy ensuite shower facilities, while the twin rooms share a bathroom with a bathtub. Two more double rooms are located on the first floor, both with ensuite shower rooms, and one benefitting from access to a charming private terrace – a perfect spot for enjoying a morning cuppa or nightcap.
The outdoor spaces here at Villa Beluger are equally beautiful, with plenty of wonderful spaces to relax with a good book, sunbathe, or simply sit and watch the world go by. You’ll find a covered outdoor dining area with a barbecue for alfresco meals, and there’s a summer lounge area fully furnished with quality seating. The villa’s private pool is sure to be a welcome addition and is easily accessible via steps, making it easy for guests of all ages to get in and out of the water safely and with ease. Surrounding the pool are luxurious loungers, ideal for laying back after a day of swimming and exploring your surroundings and soaking up the sun. Villa Beluger is located in the Sant Lluis area of Menorca in the district of Trebaluger. The cove here is considered one of the best on the island thanks to its perfect state of conservation, white sands and crystal clear waters. A unique feature of this beach is the river that runs through the beach and into the ocean, and the fact that its isolated location means that it is one of the quieter beaches in Menorca. Snorkelling, sailing and swimming are popular pastimes with visitors here, and it’s a wonderful place to spend a few peaceful hours sunbathing and taking in the natural surroundings.
The town of Sant Lluis is just 2 km from the villa and is a great base for exploring the island, being equidistant from many of the most popular attractions, including the popular south coast beaches. The rugged coastline is home to some of Menorca’s best coves and is famous for its turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. Popular activities along the coast include scuba diving, kayaking and windsurfing, and the nearby watersports centre at S’Algar offers everything you could need in the way of lessons and equipment.
The town itself is incredibly pedestrian-friendly, and the pretty streets are wonderful for enjoying quiet strolls and taking in the sights. The main street features quaint shops, bakeries, patisseries, ice cream cafes, bars and restaurants – so you won’t be short of places to visit for meals, snacks and refreshments. The village’s main attractions are the Sant Lluis church, its windmills, and the Entologico Molide Dalt museum, which is housed in one of the historic mills.
From Sant Lluis, there is an hourly bus service to the island’s capital, Mahon, which offers a livelier, more bustling atmosphere. Here you’ll find the famous Xoriguer Gin distillery, where you can enjoy free samples of gin, liqueurs and other spirits before deciding what to buy – so be sure to stop in and purchase something delicious to enjoy back at the villa!
Another popular draw for visitors to Mahon is the bi-weekly market where fruit, vegetables, meat and fish are sold in the cloisters of the hilltop church overlooking the harbour. The harbour here is one of the largest in the world and is lined with top-quality eateries serving up delicious local cuisine, as well as offering buzzing nightlife – so it’s well worth a visit during your trip.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
