Recently renovated and modern and stylish in every aspect, the interior of Villa Llatzeret is bursting with high-end furnishings and amenities to cater to your every whim during your stay. The villa features three bright and spacious living rooms – two located on the ground floor and one on the first floor, which has the added bonus of a balcony that showcases those amazing sea views. Each living room has a light, fresh decor and offers sumptuous seating areas for unwinding at the end of a long day, as well as a TV for your entertainment. This unique layout makes Villa Llatzeret a fantastic choice for two or more families holidaying together, affording privacy for separate groups when needed while still providing plenty of space to come together to dine and relax in the sun.
The villa’s large open-plan kitchen is located on the ground floor and is well-equipped with lots of space and all the cookware, crockery and utensils you’ll need to rustle up delicious meals for the whole group during your stay. The appliances here are plentiful and high-end and include an oven and hob, toaster, microwave, blender, coffee maker, fridge-freezer, blender, dishwasher and kettle. There’s also a handy laundry room with a washer and dryer – ideal for those who are enjoying an extended stay at Villa Llatzeret or for guests who want to pack a little lighter for their trip and save some room in their suitcases for all of those wonderful souvenirs they want to take home!
The bedrooms and bathrooms at the villa are all beautifully presented and feature the same high-quality decor and furnishings as the rest of the villa. On the first floor, guests can choose from two double bedrooms, with a king-size bed and a queen-size bed, respectively. Both spacious and elegant rooms feature ensuite bathrooms with walk-in shower facilities, as well as a dressing room, air-conditioning, and access to a private terrace – a wonderful space for enjoying a morning cuppa or nightcap. Two more bedrooms are located on the first floor, both double, with a choice of a king-size or queen-size bed. Guests staying in these rooms benefit from a dressing room, air-conditioning and a private balcony and share a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The outside areas are no-less impressive and offer guests the most incredible ocean views. Spacious and private, the grounds feature a fully-furnished terrace surrounded by pretty palm trees, and there are barbecue facilities for enjoying alfresco meals with the whole family. The villa’s incredible infinity pool overlooks the cove, which can be directly accessed on foot via a path at the front of the villa. After a day of swimming and relaxing, guests can retire to one of the poolside loungers to take in the views and soak up the atmosphere here in one of the most picturesque parts of the island.The luxurious area of Es Castell is located close to Menorca’s southern beaches and the island capital of Mahon. Providing an excellent base for exploring all that Menorca has to offer, Es Castell is a prime location for spending lazy summer evenings and fine dining, with the restaurants and bars along the fishing harbour of Cales Fonts being favoured by locals and tourists alike. You’ll find a good range of shops and supermarkets here, and as you head further in from the harbour, there are more bars and restaurants serving good-value set menus that are priced lower than those on the waterfront. In the central square, there is a morning market where you can buy trinkets and souvenirs and, in the summer, additional night markets selling artisan foods and handicrafts.
While there’s no beach here at Es Castell, there are some delightful access points into the sea for those who love to swim, as well as sunbathing platforms.
The capital of Mahon is located just 3 km away and is easily accessible via bus or taxi. The city is home to the famous Xoriguer Gin distillery, where you can enjoy free samples of gin, liqueurs and other spirits before deciding what to buy – so be sure to stop in and purchase something delicious to enjoy back at the villa! Another popular draw for visitors to Mahon is the bi-weekly market where fruit, vegetables, meat and fish are sold in the cloisters of the hilltop church overlooking the harbour. The harbour here is one of the largest in the world and is lined with top-quality eateries serving up delicious local cuisine, as well as offering buzzing nightlife – so it’s well worth a visit during your trip.
From Mahon, it is easy to travel to some of the beaches along the south coast, such as the charming unspoiled Cala Mesquida, which is popular with families thanks to its calm, clear waters and relaxed atmosphere and is a popular spot for snorkelling.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
