Villa Mauter Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Enjoying a prime seafront location in the prestigious Cap d’en Font area of Menorca, Villa Mauter is a stunning traditional-style villa accommodating up to eight guests across four stylish bedrooms and showcasing spectacular ocean views. The villa is set over one single storey, making it a great choice of accommodation for families with young children, older guests, and guests with limited mobility. It features a fresh white decor throughout and large sliding glass doors that ensure that the interior is flooded with plenty of light and makes moving from indoor to outdoor living seamless.
The spacious lounge area offers guests fantastic garden and sea views and is a wonderful space for chilling out with the whole family. Here you’ll find sumptuous white armchairs and sofa seating, beautifully complemented by rustic wooden furnishings and subtle ocean-themed decorative touches. A flatscreen TV is provided for your entertainment, and there’s also WiFi access – perfect for keeping the kids busy while you’re preparing for the day ahead.
Villa Mauter features an indoor dining space for intimate family meals and a well-equipped kitchen that features the same dazzling white decor paired with dark grey and stainless steel units and worksurfaces. Here you’ll find plenty of high-end, integrated appliances to use during your stay, including an oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. The villa also benefits from a washing machine and iron – ideal for those who are enjoying an extended stay at the villa or for if you want to pack a little lighter for your trip to save some room in your suitcases for all those fabulous Menorcan souvenirs.
The villa’s bedrooms are equally spacious, bright and airy, all featuring cosy double beds and offering guests direct access to the terrace, garden and pool. These quiet, relaxing havens promise a restful night’s sleep and are fully air-conditioned for comfort. Guests staying at the villa share the use of three modern and stylish bathrooms for your convenience.
The outdoor spaces here at Villa Mauter are equally spacious and luxurious, featuring lush green lawn areas for sunbathing, a decked terrace with a covered dining area for alfresco meals, and a chill-out area for enjoying after-dinner drinks while taking in the fabulous sunsets that the region is famous for. There is also a separate covered outdoor lounge area, fully furnished with stylish seats and a sofa – a perfect spot for sitting back and watching the world go by. Of course, no private villa is complete without a pool, and the one here at Villa Mauter is easily accessible via steps, making it suitable for guests of all ages, and is surrounded by quality loungers and deckchairs for reclining and relaxing after taking a cooling swim. Villa Mauter is situated in Cap d’en Fort, one of Menorca’s quietest and most beautiful regions. Nearby Binisafua beach is the biggest attraction here and features soft, fine sands and clear, shallow waters – making it popular with families with children. The beach is sheltered by dense pine forests and palm trees on one side and rocks and shrubs on the other, and is an idyllic and unspoilt spot to spend your time. One of the best things about a stay in Menorca is that you are never far from a beach, and you’ll find plenty in the surrounding area to enjoy if you fancy a bit of beach-hopping! Just 0.3km from the centre of Cap d’en Font is Es Calo Blanco, a tiny bay with crystal turquoise waters and soft golden sands. The beach is blessedly quiet even during peak season, and although you won’t find any amenities here, it is a wonderful place to sunbathe, swim and soak up the natural surroundings.
Cap d’en Font is a short drive from the village of Torret, a place bursting with traditional Menorcan architecture. This peaceful village, with its pretty, whitewashed houses, quaint, well-priced bakeries, cafes and a small supermarket, is a wonderful spot to spend a few hours strolling through the narrow streets and watching the world go by. You’ll find a number of seafront restaurants here, including the famous El Faro de Cala Torret, which offers exceptional views and traditional dishes created from fresh, local produce. Two of the highlights on the menu are lobster stew and grilled goat, but you’ll find plenty of choices to suit all tastes. Down at the docks, visitors can rent boats and kayaks and take a guided excursion of the bay, enjoying the spectacular views and clear, turquoise waters. Diving and snorkelling are popular pastimes here, although it’s worth noting that there is no lifeguard at the beach and that swimmers are reminded to watch out for jellyfish! At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
