Villa Oreu Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
Villa Oreu is located on the seafront in Binibeca – just metres from the glittering Mediterranean and just 5km from the prestigious area of Cap d’en Font. Boasting four bedrooms, private gardens and some of the most incredible views Menorca has to offer, this traditional-style villa is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and memorable holiday on one of Spain’s most popular destination islands.
The villa’s interior is homely, light and modern, featuring a fresh white decor throughout, high-quality wooden furnishings and spacious rooms that are a delight to be in. The lounge area is complete with sumptuous white sofas and armchairs, decorative stone fireplaces, rustic wooden touches and pops of ocean blue. You’ll find a flatscreen TV, DVD player and WiFi here, making it a great space for cosying up for a movie night with loved ones or for keeping the kids entertained while you cook or finish up dinner. Intimate indoor family meals can be enjoyed in the villa’s dining space, which is raised slightly to overlook the lounge area. There is a chunky wooden dining table and seating to accommodate eight guests, and it’s conveniently close to the kitchen, which is decorated in the same dazzling white hues and offers plenty of food-preparation space and storage. The appliances are all high-quality and include a vitro ceramic oven and hob, coffee machine, kettle, blender, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, as well as a range of cookware, crockery and utensils.
Guests staying at Villa Oreu can choose from four beautiful and elegantly decorated double bedrooms, with beds that can be separated to create two singles. All rooms feature a calming white colour palette, well-crafted furnishings and air-conditioning for a comfortable and restful night’s sleep. There’s also a baby cot available for the very youngest guests. The villa has three modern and stylish bathrooms with shower facilities for your convenience.
With such incredible ocean views to enjoy, it’s no surprise that you’ll want to spend as much time outside as possible, and Villa Oreu offers plenty of gorgeous outdoor spaces in which to enjoy them. Guests here can enjoy a lush green lawn area, overlooked by a furnished sun terrace – a great spot for sitting and enjoying a pre-dinner drink while watching the sailboats or taking in a beautiful sunset. The villa also features a stunning covered alfresco dining area for family meals and a private pool, which is easily accessible via steps and is surrounded by luxurious loungers and hammocks for laying back and soaking up the sun. Villa Oreu stands on the south coast of Menorca in Binibeca and is just twenty metres from the ocean and beautiful white sands. This Blue Flag Award-winning stretch features good facilities such as umbrella and sun lounger hire, shaded picnic areas and toilets. There is good access for those with limited mobility, and it’s a popular spot with families with young children. This is largely down to its clean sands and clear, shallow waters, which are ideal for paddling, swimming and snorkelling. For those who want to try some more high-octane watersports, there is a watersports centre nearby, and you’ll also find a good variety of gift and souvenir shops, a supermarket, and bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
If you’re looking to enjoy a livelier, family-friendly atmosphere during your stay, the capital Mahon is just a short drive away and is a lively and popular spot where you’ll find an array of restaurants and shops as well as a bi-weekly market selling fruit, vegetables, meat and fish in the cloisters of the hilltop church overlooking the harbour. The harbour itself is one of the largest in the world and is lined with top-quality eateries serving up delicious local cuisine, as well as offering buzzing nightlife.
A popular attraction here is the Xoriguer Gin distillery, where visitors can enjoy free samples of gin, liqueurs and other spirits – so be sure to stop in and purchase some to enjoy back at the villa! Depending on what time of year you visit, the city organises many festivals and fiestas featuring street acts, dancing and music, as well as delicious street food that is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
History buffs will enjoy a visit to the Mahon Museums, which is built on the site of a former monastery and houses a large collection of prehistoric artefacts, including objects left by the Neolithic pastoralists who settled in the area in 4000 BC and materials from the Talayotic period. Other popular attractions in the city include the Iglesia de Santa Maria Cathedral, the church of Sant Francesc and the British Clock Tower. At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
