Situated in the popular resort town of Cala’n Bosch, Villa Titina is a modern and stylish five-bedroom property accommodating up to ten guests and comes complete with private hedged gardens, sea views and a pool. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday in the sun, Villa Titina features a light, neutral decor throughout, incorporating natural shades of cream and stone, with wooden floors and furnishings. The bright and spacious living room is a homely haven for cosying up with loved ones at the end of a long day, with sumptuous sofas for sinking into and a flatscreen TV for your entertainment. The villa features two separate well-equipped kitchen spaces, both bursting with all of the appliances, cookware and utensils you’ll need to prepare meals for your guests during your stay. The ground floor kitchen, which offers guests direct access to the garden and pool area, has dazzling whitewashed walls, which are offset by traditional wooden ceiling beams and features a traditional-style built-in brick grill and a large wooden dining table with chairs and bench seating. A second independent kitchen is located on the first floor, featuring a more modern style in shades of cream and white, and is complete with an integrated oven, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a small dining table. This unique layout makes Villa Titina a fabulous choice for two or more families or larger friendship groups holidaying together, allowing for more private meal times when required.
Villa Titina’s five elegantly decorated bedrooms are spread over two storeys, with the first four located at ground level. Here you’ll find two spacious doubles and two twin rooms, all with adequate storage and beautiful views, and all sharing a modern bathroom with shower facilities. The fifth bedroom, decorated and furnished to the same high standard as the rest of the villa, can be found on the first floor. This good-sized double room benefits from an ensuite bathroom and is ideal for a couple who are holidaying with a larger family group.
Outdoor spaces include a private garden area with lawn surrounds and stylish loungers – perfect for laying back with a cocktail and soaking up the sun! The villa’s private pool is accessible by steps, making it easy for guests of all ages to get in and out of the water safely. Alfresco meals can be enjoyed on the first-floor dining terrace – accessible from the lounge area – where guests can enjoy more of those breathtaking sea views while dining together as a group. The beaches at both Cala’n Bosch and Son Xoriguer are among the most stunning on the island, with crystal clear waters that lap the soft white sands, excellent facilities and a range of water sports to enjoy, such as kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, canoeing and water skiing. If you’re hungry after a day of sun, sea and surf, Excellence Luxury Villas recommends heading to the marina, where you’ll find a wide array of bars and restaurants to enjoy – everything from fine-dining seafood restaurants to cheap and cheerful takeout establishments.
The town of Cala’n Bosch is a wonderful place to spend your time, with a modern, buzzing atmosphere and a beautiful marina. There are more seafood restaurants here to enjoy, serving up more traditional cuisine, as well as little stalls selling local artisan arts and crafts. If you’re travelling with very young children, have limited mobility, or simply want to save your legs, you can explore the area via the mini train, which runs around the whole resort and into neighbouring Son Xoriguer.
All of the amenities and facilities you’ll need during your stay can be found here, including bars, supermarkets, banks and chemists, but for a more substantial shopping experience, we recommend heading into the nearby town of Ciutadella. Offering more than just shops, restaurants and bars, visitors to the former capital can also enjoy history and culture, and a visit to the city’s 14th-century cathedral is considered an absolute must-see for anyone visiting what the guidebooks describe as ‘Menorca’s prettiest city’. Built atop an old mosque, the cathedral is one of the most beautiful on the island, bursting with light, decorative elements, and beautiful stained glass windows that create colourful patterns on the stone when the sun streams through. Guests should note that the entrance fee includes access to the cloisters – so be sure to hold on to your ticket once you’ve entered the cathedral. Admission for children under the age of 12 is free, and ‘appropriate dress and behaviour’ is required, as the cathedral is an active place of worship.
