Opposite the living area is the dining area, another space that exudes a sense of attractive tradition. The dining area makes use of a long wooden table and matching chairs, meaning that guests can use this space to delve into their daily meals and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen within this property continues a similar style, using dark wooden cupboards and sleek granite countertops to build a charming space. In turn, guests can experiment with their cooking skills to help them prepare and serve an array of delicious meals.  Can Sauri is also home to three impeccable bedrooms. The first bedroom is the master bedroom, as seen by the spacious double bed that sits in the middle of the room. This bed has been decorated with plump and ample linens to ensure that guests can gain a restful night’s sleep throughout their stay on this property. In addition, this room also provides access to an opulent and stylish en-suite bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms both contain a pair of single beds. As such, these rooms are ideal for small children or for couples who prefer to sleep apart. Can Sauri is located in the idyllic region of Pollensa, a location that expresses a true sense of rest and relaxation. Puig de Maria is a deeply significant religious landmark that can be found just under 10-minutes away from the centre of the town. At the very top of a 330-metre summit resides a small 14th-century monastery that boasts of rich history. This monastery was once seen as a prosperous shrine to the Virgin Mary but was forced to close its doors in 1564. This monument did not reopen until 1638 when it was transformed into the beautiful building we see today. Guests are allowed to visit inside the monastery and bask in the collection of well-preserved artefacts and fixtures. Previous guests note that it only takes around 30-minutes to climb to the top of Puig de Maria, making it a very accessible hike for a majority of guests. If you are looking to explore the fascinating art history of this region, the Pollensa Museum is just a stone’s throw away from the town centre. Although this museum now showcases a plethora of traditional Buddhist mandalas and the works of Atilio Boveri, it was once nothing more than a storage space. When this establishment was first built in the 16th century, it was used to hold a collection of ornate Gothic altarpieces, which managed to receive a lot of praise and acclaim. These pieces even received a commendation at the prestigious Summer Exhibition of Painting during the 1960s. The Pollensa Museum finally opened its doors to the public in 1975 and has continued to be a key part of the region’s history. The museum welcomes guests every weekday from 10 am till 2 pm and is free to enter for all guests. Alzinaret Caves are an alluring landmark that expresses  Pollensa’s prehistoric origins. These fascinating caves are said to date back to 1600 BC and showcase a wide variety of artefacts from the Middle Bronze Age. Despite their long history, the caves were not officially recorded until 1927, when Wilfred Hemp marked them in his inventory. To mark his fantastic discovery, a cave named Number 7 of Hemp now acts as a shrine in his honour. Alzinaret Caves can be found around 10-minutes away, and there is even a range of benches located outside the structures for guests who would prefer not to enter inside.
