Despite its acclaimed popularity, this museum was originally a humble storage unit that was used to house a selection of ornate Gothic altarpieces. These pieces were very well regarded and even received a wealth of praise at the Summer Exhibition of Painting back in the 1960s. In 1975, the museum finally opened its doors to the public and is now best known for presenting the works of Atilio Boveri. Pollensa Museum can be found just a short walk away from the town centre and is open Monday-Friday from 10 am till 2 pm.
