Inside, the whitewashed walls and furnishings make for a cooling spot to escape to during the hottest part of the afternoon, as well as acting as a blank canvas against which house plants and colourful artwork pop off. We’ve only got kind words for the large size and sleek surfaces of the kitchen, while the private terrace out through the glass doors is ripe for a spot of sunbathing or alfresco dining.

Estepona’s charming old town lies six kilometres down the coastline if you’re in the mood for leisurely wandering between shops and restaurants.
