The outdoor spaces are majestic: beautiful, elegant palm trees and delightfully ornamental stone steps lead down to the pool area. The stunning symmetry that this home’s facade offers is so pleasing to the eye, framed by a riot of beautiful fruit trees, bright flowering plants and fragrant blossom.
Villa Mireia represents an oasis of tranquillity away from the bustle and crowds, yet so conveniently located close to all essential amenities. The gardens provide just the right balance between being well kept and natural!
The interiors are warm, cosy, inviting yet stylishly opulent. Soft, muted, earthy tones and quality lighting create a home-like ambience. The living-dining room is open plan, with wood burning open fire and space to relax and unwind or enjoy meals as a family or group.

The farmhouse style kitchen is flooded with natural daylight; it is a relaxed space, yet provides every appliance and convenience imaginable, with large American style fridge, coffee maker and juicer, guests can relax in the knowledge that self-catering is made easy here.
There is a further, separate informal dining area, which is presented in the lean-to, with beautiful exposed stone and sloping timber beams, it provides a natural link between indoors and outdoors, with fantastic views out onto the gardens and cosy wood burner in the corner.
Two stunning double bedrooms and one twin bedroom offer the most tranquil of sleeping quarters; soft, neutral tones, crisp quality cotton bedlinen and fluffy towels in a cool, and calm ambience will guarantee guests a restorative stay. Villa Mireia accommodates six guests.
All the modern conveniences are provided: satellite television, air conditioning on a timetable, DVD player, safe for valuables.
The options for dining outdoors are impeccably executed; the citrus grove is so fragrant, while guests will enjoy a barbecue in utter tranquillity overlooking the pool and gardens.Villa Mireia is situated just a couple of kilometres from Calonge and S’Horta, both of which offer local shops and some lovely restaurants.
Just a five-minute drive will take guests to the beautiful Cala Sanau sandy cove. The buzzing tourist resort of Cala d’Or is only a couple of kilometres away and offers a vast array of restaurants, pretty sandy coves and an impressive yacht harbour.
Calonge is an agricultural village in the south-east of Majorca, set in the municipality of Santanyi; historically, the industry was spread among fishing, agriculture and livestock. Today, the harbour Cala Llonga has become the central tourist hub, which forms part of Cala d’Or resort.
Calonge is located at the foot of the Serra de Llevant mountains; these days there is a bustling mix of grocery stores, restaurants, antique shops and interior design shops. The tourist resort of Cala d’Or offers lovely bays and beaches at just a few minutes drive away.
The eighteen hole golf course at All d’Or is located close by for golf enthusiasts.
Water sports and beach life are very much central to Majorca.  
Cycling is a significant part of the tourism trade in this part of Majorca – it has become a central hub for those wanting to make the most of the diverse array of northern routes and rugged, beautiful scenery. With safe, yet challenging, mountain roads and year-round temperate weather, cycling enthusiasts will find themselves among a like-minded biking community.
Hiking is likewise very much a draw for visitors to the region; a gorgeous hike being the route to the former monastery Lluc, situated in the Tramuntana mountains – along yet wonderfully rewarding path offering unspoilt views of luscious nature.
Golfers will be very much at home with an array of golf courses to select from.
Whether it be pilates, or paddle boarding, kite surfing or chartering a private boat to explore hidden corners of the coastline, the opportunities for sports and activities at all levels are endless.
The promenade next to Port Colom is usually a bustle of rollerbladers, walkers, cyclists and families just out for a stroll, whilst at the end of the beach, next to Pine Walk, visitors will come across the stone sculpture workshops – courses include open-air classes in sculpture, complete with daily yoga sessions and one to one coaching.
Not so much known for its nightlife, this corner of Majorca is very much a family-friendly destination, however many of the restaurants offer live music and party nights.
