This place is the ultimate barefoot escape – this gorgeous beachside villa with its balconies, rooftops and two private pools is just footsteps from stunning Bwejuu Beach.
We were mesmerised by the breathtaking views over the Indian Ocean when we visited – our favourite spot was the hammock on the roof terrace. The home comprises two attached villas, so it’s perfect for families or a group of friends wanting some independent space.
Enjoy the continental breakfast provided on your terrace, then later for lunch, your full-time cook can rustle up a tasty meal for the whole gang. Inside, there’s a tropical beach vibe to suit the location. Think rafia lampshades, whitewashed walls to match the bone-white sand and a shelf unit made from a repurposed boat.
When you fancy exploring, Kijani Beach is just a two-minute walk, and there are a few restaurants a short walk along the beach. There are shops less than a ten-minute drive toward Paje, and then in Paje itself, there are an array of shops, bars and restaurants.
