Built in just 2019, these interiors are magnificent. First there is a double height ceiling in this superb living room, where two plush sofas and an armchair sit before a large TV. An open-plan style makes for a beautifully sociable environment, as conversation and laughter can flow freely between the kitchen, lounge and dining area, and this design is fabulously bright and airy. In this stunning kitchen right beside the lounge you’ll find everything you could need to rustle up a treat, with tons of surface area for meal prep which doubles as a stylish breakfast table! The large dining table sits alongside the two, where you can devour these delicious creations and enjoy memorable meals together, in addition to the alfresco dining area.
There are three spectacular bedrooms, including two each with a large double bed and two singles in the final room. Each room has a sumptuous design, with regal crushed velvet bedframes, sleek wooden ceilings and soothing colour schemes. The master suite occupies the whole of the top floor, making it incredibly spacious and truly spectacular, with private balcony access, an immense circular bed and even a Jacuzzi for your absolute enjoyment! All three rooms feature a wonderful ensuite bathroom. The master features both a shower and bathtub, while the remaining two rooms have immense showers, all set amid stunning marble designs.
Head out into this sublime garden for the real jewel in the crown of this rural delight, with a stunning lawn surrounding an elegant pool terrace, at the heart of which is this wonderfully secluded 12 by 5 meter private pool! With both a Jacuzzi and a children’s pool here, there’s something for everyone to enjoy total tranquillity, a relaxing massage and peace of mind. Indeed, you can enjoy many an hour in peace, as the kids frolic and play in their own safe end of the pool, or even on this sofa swing, and you simply sit back and relax on one of these snug sun loungers and catch some rays! An organic vegetable garden to one side of the villa is yours to enjoy – so you can prepare the freshest of food each mealtime! Nestled in the hilly inland of Mediterranean Turkey, Villa Yaz is perfectly placed to enjoy spectacular scenery, a fabulous climate and some of the most picturesque beaches in the world. Just a 16 minute drive away is the incredible Oludeniz beach, popular for its sheltered and crystal-clear lagoon, and is teeming with colourful fish!
What’s more, you’re just minutes from the ghost town of Kayaköy, a Greek town until it was depopulated in 1923 according to the Treaty of Lausanne, with hundreds of abandoned houses with no roofs or windows, abandoned churches and a small hilltop chapel with great views. Along with an eerie sensation of emptiness, there are also a few restaurants and quite a bohemian atmosphere.
Nearby Fethiye, about 25 minutes away, offers a wonderful natural harbour with a bustling marina and a lively night life, thanks to its huge number of restaurants, cafes and bars. There is a Tuesday markets to explore too, selling everything from fresh produce to rugs – don’t miss the local delicacy of gozleme, a thin savoury pancake. The fishmarket is a gathering of fishmongers surrounded by several restaurants who will cook your purchase. This fascinating historical town features sarcophagus (pre-Roman Lycian relics) in the streets and ancient rock tombs including one actually carved into the mountains, along with loads more incredible historical sites!
Tucked within the mountains, this is also a perfect location for an active group, or simply those who enjoy getting out and about in the fresh air. Hiking routes trail off in every direction, while the nearby deeply historical Lycian Way hiking path offers 500km of routes in this breath-taking landscape! Along the route you can enjoy sites such as Cold Water Bay, a wonderfully family-friendly beach with tons of water-sports, crystal clear waters and a silky sand beach, as well as the cliff ledge monastery ruins of Afkule.
Head a little further afield and you can also enjoy the fascinating Butterfly Valley, a nature reserve home to a diverse array of butterfly species, as well as striking natural formations in the coastline, including gorges and mountains. With Dalaman Airport just 65km away, you can land, travel from the airport and get settled in within an hour or so, wasting no time on your extra special holiday!
