Situated on a peninsula in the ultra-modern Falkensteiner Resort lies Ante Villas. Sleek and modern, each villa sleeps seven guests, with everything you need on your doorstep to make this a holiday you won’t forget.
Each villa has a similar layout throughout. The ground floor consists of an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Stone walls soften the modern finishes and a stylish corner couch with soft cushions centres the room. The kitchen has sleek wooden panelling and white countertops with a breakfast bar. The initial minibar has complimentary refreshments plus, enjoy a welcome drink on arrival at the Sotto Voce bar.
The dining table seats eight guests on cushioned chairs with wicker lampshades above, looking out over the patio with doors leading out, bringing the outside in. Divulge in the complimentary welcome package of fresh flowers, fruits, sparkling wine and a selection of snacks.
A guest bedroom also sits on the ground floor with an ensuite bathroom and double bed. A laundry room is on hand with a washing machine, dryer, clothes rack, iron and iron board.
Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms look out at the stunning view, with access to a shared balcony. Sun loungers sit ready, facing the view, an ideal spot to have your morning coffee. All bedrooms are light, with double beds, televisions and ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom’s ensuite bathroom has a stand-alone bath and dual sinks. Air conditioning flows throughout the whole villa, both upstairs and downstairs as well as high-speed WI-FI. The villa also comes equipped with yoga mats, facial rollers, two weights and Nordic walking sticks. Two E-bikes are also available, making it easy to get around the resort.
Outside, each villa has a private Mediterranean garden with a heated pool and furnished sun terrace. Make your stay even more special and order a floating brunch to enjoy in your private swimming pool. Wooden sun loungers with white cushions surround the pool while a round outdoor dining table with wicker chairs sits underneath the first-floor balcony. An elegant round sofa sits underneath a wooden pergola giving a moment of privacy in the garden.

Under an hour’s drive away from the villa Paklenica is a spectacular landscape of canyons and pine forests and a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Paklenica has a variety of adventures including bouldering, climbing, rafting and extreme mountain biking. Venture into one of 15 caves and pits hidden amongst the trees to discover the secrets of the region.
Zadar archipelago is a group of 150 islands and reefs in the Adriatic sea off the coast of Zadar. The whole family will love spending a day exploring the islands and making a splash in the cooling shallows.
Spend a day exploring the island Pasman, separated from the mainline by the Pasman channel. Take the ferry from Zadar to explore the 60 kilometre island. For those who want to see a different side of the island, hire bicycles and choose between two main cycle paths. One takes you around the main towns on the island while the second takes you across the hills on the island, soaking up the magnificent views. If it’s a more relaxed excursion you’re after choose between one of the many beaches on the island including Tratica beach and Duzica beach. Both have good facilities, changing areas and showers with a local café nearby for refreshments.
Another natural landscape, with adventures, is Plitvice Lakes National Park; a landscape of 8km of terraced lakes, tiered waterfalls and stunning cascades. Turquoise lakes are filled with wildlife, including water snakes, herons, deer with bears and wolves located in the higher, forested areas.
Villa Zdenka is 27km away from the city of Zadar. With Roman and Venetian architecture, Zadar is filled with history dating back thousands of years like the 12th-century cathedral. St. Mary’s Convent is an 11th-century building, with religious art dating back to the 8th century. The museum of ancient glass is one of the few places left in Croatia where you can learn about glass blowing and even try the technique yourself. Visitors can witness a glass blower in action, making vases, jugs and souvenirs in 1,300-degree heat.
