Outside you will find a fabulous deck with a luxury canopied daybed, alfresco dining furniture, sun loungers and a fantastic, shaded infinity pool beneath tropical trees. It is incredibly peaceful and calm. Inside, classic, rich wooden furnishings and bespoke Baros amenities will delight. The comfortable kingsize bed takes pride of place with excellent views out to the tropical garden. There are tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, a book library and a dedicated 24-hour villa host for your enjoyment. The spaces will envelop you with effortless charm and supreme comfort. Just metres away are the dazzling white sands, turquoise waters and the wonders of the incredible house reef.  Baros Resort is absolutely amazing, offering fantastic hospitality as well as a delightful range of wellness and sports activities, a wonderful dining scene and exquisite accommodation. The resort’s Lime Restaurant has a wonderful deck with breathtaking lagoon views. Baros was one of the first of the Maldives atolls to open to visitors and maintains its excellent reputation. There are many excursions and activities where you will enjoy the sensational turquoise waters, the intriguing corals and the fabulous, colourful sea life.  Baros’ house reef is just offshore. You can swim, snorkel, kayak or sail to the reef and enjoy the colourful spectacle. The resort’s PADI five-star Gold Palm Dive Centre, WorldDivers Baros, offers excellent courses and diving experiences. You can take a boat excursion and explore the rich culture of Male, the capital island, visiting the lively and colourful fish market, the stunning mosque, the Presidential Palace and enjoying some craft and souvenir shopping.  Water excursions at Baros include bewitching whale and dolphin watching, fishing expeditions, Baros sunset cruises or snorkelling trips. Baros Atoll is a wild blue playground for sea life encounters and excursions. You will encounter shoals of barracudas gliding gracefully on the tropical currents and many turtles. The resort’s watersports include paddleboarding, kayaking in transparent canoes, wakeboarding, waterskiing, inflatable tube rides and windsurfing. The resort’s Maldivian fibreglass dhoni Nooma is available for private trips to enjoy the sails billowing in the breeze, to explore the fabulous, kaleidoscopic reef, to enjoy the vivid sunset colours or for a romantic private dinner for two with a private chef. The dhoni features a delightful sundeck, private saloon lounge and an air-conditioned double bedroom. Serenity is the 16m Princess motor yacht which is also available for private cruises around the atoll.  There are many world-class dive sites less than an hour away from Baros. The resort also offers a Big Game Deep Sea Fishing experience where you will search the incredible, deep blue waters for fish including sailfish, tuna, marlin and wahoo and test your strength bringing the catch in.  A fantastic wellness programme can be arranged at the elegant Serenity Spa. It is a beautiful sanctuary of relaxation hidden in the trees and boasts a fabulous range of indulgent spa and beauty rituals. There are four couples private spa suites, each with a wonderful outdoor relaxation area with rainfall showers and bathtubs in the tropical gardens, a manicure and pedicure suite, a relaxation sala, an air-conditioned yoga pavilion, a Thai sala and a spa boutique.
