The Olhuveli resort is located a 45-minute speedboat ride from Mali. Built over three islands, there are endless white sandy beaches, turquoise lagoons and breath-taking scenery for you to explore. Whether you prefer a more active relaxation with swimming, diving and water sports, or a calmer way of life lazing by pools, indulging at the spa and sipping cocktails on the beach, or even a combination of the two; there is truly something for everyone!
Contemporarily designed, Villa Kavaabu offers everything you need to instantly relax. Inside, the décor is bright, with clean white lines complemented by splashes of colour, adding a vibrancy to the serene ambience. There is a large king-size bed, from which you can gaze out across the lagoon, so from the moment you awake you feel that sense of complete tranquillity, knowing you have nothing to do and nowhere to be, all you need to do is relax. A daybed sits nestled into an alcove in the wall, perfect for curling up and reading quietly. There is also a small desk and ample storage to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The bathroom adopts the same elegant styles, with a large tub and separate walk-in shower where you can refresh after a day swimming in the lagoons.
Our favourite aspect of this villa is the outside deck, in fact, with the doors wide open, the indoor and outdoor seemingly become one. The generous deck stretches out over the lagoon, with heaps of space for you to relax. A day bed, dining table and two sun loungers furnish the space, with luscious plants bringing some nature from the land into your floating villa.
