Villa Saagu is a one-bedroom villa that embraces Maldivian style but offers all the modern comforts that make your stay special. A thatched roof with bamboo supports is matched with a decadent modern bathroom and crisp white walls.
The bedroom is a real treat as you can wake up to a view of the sea and listen to the gentle crashing of waves, all from the comfort of the king-size bed. The spacious room has an additional seating area which is great for enjoying a good book from. The next door bathroom continues the luxurious theme. You can make the most of the large patio doors to the sea with a bath in the centred bathtub; here you can enjoy the stunning sea view whilst relaxing in the scented bubbles. The adjacent walk through shower is another option for a bit of pampering after a day of enjoying the sea, getting yourself ready before a wonderful meal under the stars. The bathroom is also home to a walk-in closet, so there is no need to pack light for this holiday to remember.
The villa’s outdoor spaces are everything you could ask for when visiting this beautiful part of the world. A large terrace area provides a space to relax in through the day, with the gentle cooling breeze passing by. The terrace has two sun loungers for lazy days relaxing in the sun, or a daybed for enjoying a little doze as the cooling clouds pass overhead. The villa’s dining area can also be found on the terrace, the intimate space is perfect for couples to enjoy starlight meals and refreshing breakfasts. A small staircase provides access down to the sea where you can swim around the villa and make the most of the beautiful water.
Villa Saagu is a stunning property hovering over the turquoise water of the Maldives. The resort is located in a northern island called Raa Atoll. The small island is an oasis of calm, offering guests the opportunity to embrace all that the Maldives has to offer. The resort can be accessed by either seaplane or speed boat. The seaplane offers beautiful views as you pass over the islands heading north, it is an incredible way to start the holiday. Leaving from Malé airport the flight is approximately forty minutes. Alternatively, a thirty minutes domestic flight to Ifuru airport and a further thirty minute speed boat ride is an exciting way to get to the resort.
The resort has a number of fantastic facilities that make the island a haven of fun and relaxation. The waters sports centre is a particularly popular feature, located on the sandy shores, the centre has a wide range of fun activities to try out. With windsurfing, kiting, kayaking all provided for guests there is plenty of opportunity for some adventures in the crystal clear water. Kayaking is a particularly great way to explore the phenomenal sea life, bring a snorkel and you may find yourself amongst turtles and rays in these rich seas. There are also motorised water sports like jet skis available for those looking for a bit of excitement.
Diving is another fantastic opportunity to explore the famous sea life in the area, the islands diving centre is perfect for both complete novices and experienced pros. Explore the reefs in the deeper water and build up to your PADI licence, leaving the island with a new passion.For something a little more relaxing be sure to explore the resort’s spa facilities.
The Balinese style spa has ten air conditioned bungalows where a number of treatments are on offer to suit all moods and preferences. The Resort

Located on the Raa Atoll, in the northern part of the Maldives archipelago, this Deluxe All-Inclusive Resort is surrounded by 1,5 km of soft white sand, on a lush private 20 hectares island and features 120 villas, 60 of which are located on the island and 60 directly on the sea.
