Villa Vladana is a modern property which offers all the essentials for a restful stay. The resort enjoys a wonderful view over the Adriatic Sea, and this villa features an outdoor terrace where you relax or dine. If you fancy a swim, you have the resort’s large swimming pools available to you – the largest is an impressive 15m x 5m in size.

If you have discovered the Croatian coast to the north but not yet crossed the border, you have a lot to discover in Montenegro. Its best-known destination, Budva, offers a combination of beaches, nightlife and dining, and a charming Old Town offers lovely views as it winds its way down to the sea. Pretty little streets and squares lined with galleries, cafés and shops are accompanied by a small beach, while the nearby Dukley Marina offers cool bar terraces and people-watching. Budva also boasts a top-notch family attraction in the form of its high-energy Aquapark just above the town.
You are spoilt for choice for beaches in Montenegro, but the southern town of Ulcinj is hard to beat. With 12km of sands at Velika Plaza, it’s a real hotspot in summer. If it gets too busy, cross the Bojana River to peaceful Ada Bojana.
The stunning Bay of Kotor is lined with pretty harbours makes a wonderful place for a walk or an invigorating bike ride. The town of Tivat is one you may encounter en route, complete with glamorous marina. For a wonderful overview of the bay, head up to the pretty village of Gornja Lastva and watch the sun set.
Inland, you will find more gems, such as Lipa Cave and the beautiful Lovcen National Park, full of forests and mountains, and a real highlight. You can get pretty active there, but to take things further, try the high-adrenaline thrills of Nevido Canyon and Tara Canyon, the world’s second deepest, not far from the Bosnian border – white-water rafting, zip-lining and the like, in the most incredible surroundings.
