A modern three-bedroom villa on the Montenegrin coast, Villa Vucinic is just a few minutes’ walk from Sveti Stefan. Featuring an oceanfront terrace area with dining area and barbecue, this property also enjoys the use of a range of resort amenities, including a tennis court and large swimming pools.
Sveti Stefan’s idyllic beach with a view of its private, fortified island, makes the village is a much-loved destination. Located south of Budva, around 15 minutes’ drive away, it’s also well located for attractions such as the Lovcen National Park, Lake Skadar and the Bay of Kotor.
Villa Vucinic makes the ideal base for all this sightseeing, and features stylish areas inside and out. The private terrace with pergola is a lovely spot for lounging or having dinner together in the sunshine, with the addition of a barbecue definitely a bonus. Inside, you have another dining area which forms part of the open-plan living space on the ground floor. There is also a kitchen equipped with all you may need, including a fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
On the first floor, you will find a family bathroom, alongside the three bedrooms. There is one room with a King-size bed, a balcony and en-suite, along with a double with a balcony, and a twin room.
As a guest at Villa Vucinic, you can enjoy all the amenities of the resort, which include large swimming pools, a tennis court, gym and Italian restaurant, as well as a sun deck area with loungers and parasols. You will be just a few minutes’ drive from the lengthy beach at nearby Petrovac, around 2km from the villa.
There is plenty more to explore in all directions, including 12km of beach to the south in the popular town of Ulcinj, and the wonderful Old Town of Kotor, where you can climb to the top of the walls for a fantastic view across the bay.Excellence Luxury Villas Tips…
Montenegro’s coast is stunningly beautiful yet still, relatively, undiscovered. Its best-known destination, Budva has long been geared up for visitors who come for the beaches and to see the charming Old Town. There’s also the upscale Dukley Marina area, where it’s all cool and sophisticated, and the family-friendly Aquapark, the biggest water-park in the Balkans and a whole lot of fun.
Just south of Budva, picturesque Sveti Stefan provides this little country’s most photographed spot. Its private island is closed to all but the guests of the resort which now occupies it, but you can still enjoy the view from the beaches across the causeway. Another great beach destination is down the coast in Ulcinj – there are 12km of sands at Velika Plaza, making it the longest beach in Europe. Much nearer, pretty Petrovac is ideal for water-sports and a laid-back lifestyle.
The country offers some amazing areas of natural beauty, notably Lovcen, Durmitor and Lake Skadar National Parks, and the beautiful Bay of Kotor. This area is a great place to stop and start, perhaps by bike – you can visit all sorts of pretty places along the way, such as Tivat with its Monaco-like vibe enhanced by a yacht-lined marina, and the town of Kotor itself. As one of the country’s most-visited, it may be crowded, but there’s no mistaking the beauty of its Old Town, which is Montenegro’s rival to neighbouring Croatia’s Dubrovnik.
