Bathed in exotic tones and golden ocean light and natural woods, this stylish yet elegant room is simple, unfussy yet ever-so exquisite. Head down to the Khantok Restaurant for a true taste of Thailand. Not only is the food delicious and authentic, but also beautifully presented and served in the most traditional surroundings.
For a magical retreat, a romantic bolthole, or a culturally immersive stay with a taste of true Thailand, simply look no further!Villa Teppan is nestled in a prime spot, overlooking the ocean in Ko Yao Yai island. This island is a hidden gem in the Andaman Sea, halfway between Phuket and Krabi. It’s known for its sandy shores, dense and luscious mangroves forests, rubber plantations and fishing villages.
With pristine beaches with piers for ferries and long-tail boats, waters that are rich in coral and dotted with dive sites, and local culture of small fishing villages and authentic life, visitors can enjoy a taste of “real” Thailand.
The island is a secluded refuge that feels far removed from the bustling tourist crowds of Phuket; it offers a retreat from modern life and an opportunity to enjoy a slower pace, or activities include kayaking, hiking, snorkelling, and swimming.
Perched only 50 minutes from Phuket International Airport by car and speed boat. It takes 30 minutes from the airport to Ao Po Grand Marina Pier and 20-minute boat ride from Ao Po Grand Marina Pier to reach this ultra-gracious retreat. The journey there makes it all worth it: based on location alone, it should be swarming with tourists. And yet it’s not.
Nestled in Phang Nga Bay, this area sees visitors enjoy mysterious caves, lagoons and jutting cliffs, as well as abundant wildlife. Most of the islands in Phang Nga Bay are uninhabited, and many of them have spectacular caves which you can only reach by kayak. Koh Hong is one of the most popular of these islands, while Khao Khien is worth a visit to see the ancient paintings of boats and animals on the rock walls.
