Its golden sands are nestled at the base of impressive limestone cliffs, which have been eroded over time to create unique formations such as the well-known double sea arch, Arcos Naturais – one of the most photographed natural features of the Algarve. Marinha is incredibly popular with families, as it remains sheltered from the wind, and the clear waters make it a prime spot for snorkelling and swimming.
If you choose to venture inland, you’ll find plenty of historic towns to explore, with pretty cobbled streets and bustling markets, as well as lots of beautiful hiking and cycling trails through peaceful forests and lemon groves, and of course, some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world.
