In addition, the outdoor areas are home to a selection of minimalist sun loungers that guests can use to soak up the warming rays of the sun and take in the beautiful sights that surround them.  Artists Antoni Esteva and Jaume Danus use a wide array of ornate and Bohemian pieces to help create a stunning and serene atmosphere throughout the entire property. The home itself has been standing since the 13th century and has been passed through a variety of different families. In the 1960s, when the tourism industry was booming, many of these archaic homes were left abandoned. Thus, the Es Raco d’Arta resort provides guests with an unforgettable experience that transports them back to the long-forgotten past. Despite its archaic roots, this resort was designed to be fully self-sufficient, using a plethora of expanded cork sheets as well as an array of energy-efficient air conditioning units. This facility also aims to reduce the use of single-use plastic, allowing the resort to be more mindful of its daily practices to help protect our environment. Es Raco Junior Suite is home to a stunning bedroom, making this an ideal space for a romantic couple’s getaway. This bedroom uses a range of crisp linens as well as a variety of minimalist furnishings. As such, this is an ideal space for guests to use to gain a restful night’s sleep and completely detach from the stressors of daily life. Furthermore, this bedroom also contains a stylish desk area, complete with a comfortable chair and a chic table. This resort is home to an incredibly opulent spa that lists a wide range of soothing and beneficial treatments. For example, a standard aromatherapy massage is designed to relieve any bothersome aches or pains and transport you into a world of tranquillity. Using a collection of diverse essential oils, this massage works to appease all of the senses, making it a very comprehensive experience. The spa also contains a selection of pools that can also be used in a variety of treatments. Watsu is a deeply unique bodywork class that encourages guests to suspend themselves in warm water whilst a trained specialist activates their energy meridians. These treatments are available every day from 10 am to 7 pm and are all available for an additional cost.  This resort also hosts a tremendous restaurant called Beni Axir. This establishment is named after a Berber settlement that dates back to the 13th century. As this resort focuses on the power of sustainability, a majority of the produces is grown and produced on-site. This ensures that guests receive a deeply fresh and delectable meal every time. Guests are encouraged to broaden their culinary horizons and dive into a range of off-beat menu options, such as a refreshing fig salad as well as a selection of freshly baked bread. Even the beer found in this restaurant is made using fresh wheat that is grown on the grounds of this site. Beni Axir also offers an array of awe-inspiring views, helping to create a picturesque landscape with every meal.  During select times of the year, Es Raco d’Arta resort holds a plethora of unconventional workshops that aim to broaden the mind of every guest. A perfect example of this is the meditation workshop that usually runs throughout the summer. Guests who partake in this activity are guided through a series of attention training activities, teaching them how to respect and appreciate the sights, sounds, and smells that surround them.
