Located on the north coast of Zealand on the edge of the fishing village Rågeleje, this cabin has been designed to offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the sparkling water on the far horizon. Guests can admire this picturesque scenery through the wall of glass that takes up the far side of the space or out in the open air on the covered terrace.
You could be forgiven for assuming that the interior would be rather rustic in style given the timber walls and rural surroundings. However, the white floorboards and walls feel rather contemporary, as does the sleek black kitchen and eye-catching lighting. There’s a wood-burning stove to keep the gang warm during colder moments, but you’ll also be happy to learn that eco-friendly initiatives were included during construction, including a heat pump and solar panels.
Out through the glass doors, there’s an alfresco table where you can enjoy dinner fresh off the barbecue grill, plus a large garden complete with children’s play equipment and a trampoline. A little further afield, the famous striped beach huts and sandy seafront of Rågeleje Strand take six minutes to reach on foot, while the centre of Copenhagen only lies fifty minutes or so away by car.
