Rent Apartment Grullo Gladiolus Denmark
Holiday Home Rental Description
As Denmark’s biggest island, Sealand also has a big personality. From bustling cities, to deserted beaches, and thick forests dotted about, you can keep busy in all sorts of different ways. This home is set in the tiny community of Veddinge Bakker, only an hour away from Copenhagen by car, but you might not feel the need to head to the capital.
Make your way up a hill and through the lush forest – nature is an integral part of life in this home. Wood is the main theme, where you’ll first spot tree trunks (also handy for your wood-burning stove) then move towards the vast decking and the wooden planks that make up the exterior.
Despite a traditional appearance, this 2018 build is 21st-century ready. Eco-friendly features like solar panels and geothermal heating synchronise with the landscape. And you can feel even closer to nature, as the heated swimming pool and trampoline are both dug into the ground.
Inside, Scandi minimalism and elegance are mixed with, you guessed it, more wood. We love the sense of space created by lofty sloped ceilings and huge glass sliding doors. And for a final flourish of modern luxury, relax your muscles in the Jacuzzi tub after a long day of foraging and hiking.
