Whether you’re rustling up smørrebrød in the sleek kitchen, sprawling on the soft sofa or snuggling up in front of the log burner, you’re sure to feel right at home here.
Step out into the garden for some fresh air – not only can you see the blue sea sparkling on the horizon, but you’ll have a private terrace where days are best spent sipping wine and soaking up the Danish sunshine. Come dinnertime, fire up the barbecue and enjoy an alfresco meal as the sun goes down. Sounds pretty blissful to us.
When you’re ready to hit the beach, it couldn’t be easier – just grab a towel, walk three minutes and you’re on the soft sand flanking the Kattegat Sea. The charming coastal town of Sæby and its array of shops and eateries is a twenty-minute walk away – we think the cobbled lanes are perfect for a stroll – or take a hike through Sæbygård wood if you fancy stretching your legs.
