You’ll live like a king here, spending long summer days lounging by the private swimming pool and feasting on delicious French meals in the castle grounds. Challenge your fellow guests to a friendly game of pool in the billiards room or round everyone up and head to the outdoor cinema – a former tobacco drying shed – for a movie night like no other.
There’s no need to venture far here – if you fancy exploring, the small village of Montjoi is only twenty minutes away on foot and is teeming with old-school charm. Spend a morning exploring its gorgeous, cobbled streets then jump in the car and head south to Auvillar – one of France’s most beautiful villages – for your fill of amazing French architecture.
