Paris’ 17th arrondissement is home to luxury and landmarks. With the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, a feeling of elegance is in the air. And just a five-minute drive away, this home is no exception. Your spacious, modern apartment has been decorated by a local interior designer – and you can certainly tell from its harmonious colour scheme. Pink and rose chime with touches of gold throughout the entire home, in particular the living space and master bedroom. While the main area is open plan, the clever use of contrasting black-and-gold cabinets makes the kitchen feel distinct and separate from the soft palette of the lounge. We love the sunbursts and ornamental fan shapes as a recurring theme, especially the patterned feature walls. The shapes work well with the parquet flooring, creating a subtle curved-versus-angular contrast. While we’re sure you’ll take the twenty-minute walk to hit the shops on the Champs-Élysées, we recommend taking a stroll to the serene Parc Monceau, just nine minutes away. Its romantic English gardens are a rare sight in Paris. Find a variety of follies like a Chinese fort and a Dutch windmill, as well as statues of famous Parisian writers and artists.
