Rent Apartment Grayish Cherry Le Marais
Holiday Home Rental Description
Rough stone walls and rustic beams reflect the building’s long history in this Marais apartment. It’s tucked away on a side street between theatres and ancient churches. The streets of the surrounding Marais neighbourhood are the typical Parisian scenes you might see in a movie – lined with local bistros, and bijou bakeries – and where the old buildings are practically kissing, they’re so close together. For a spot of sightseeing, it’s a leisurely thirty-minute stroll through these atmospheric streets to Notre Dame.
The apartment embraces Provincial rusticana, despite being in the centre of the capital. Ancient wood beams look as though they’ve held this home together since the 18th century and honey-hued stone walls whisper of a bygone time. Going pleasingly off-brand for Paris, we love the tropical prints and feature walls in the bedrooms. There’s a secret bonus here too – a little outdoor terrace with deckchairs and a tiny table for cocktails.
Further Information::
* An additional two guests may use one of the double sofa beds in the living room – we don’t recommend using both sofa beds at once as the space will feel cramped
* The apartment is on the first floor with no lift access so you’ll have to climb some stairs
* We found one of the shower heights to be lower than average at 185 cm, but as there’s a second (higher) shower, it shouldn’t pose a problem
* This home isn’t equipped with air-conditioning but a mobile unit is available upon request
*One of the bedrooms is a pass-through room, a little like a corridor
*Your host can provide a cot for infants, just ask
