Some of its original features remain, whilst the modern crittall-esque windows which cleverly zone the bedrooms are firmly set in the 21st Century. By night, you can draw the curtains on the space to create a cosy boudoir feel, then fling them open by day to let the light flood in. Opening up the doors to the Juliet balcony in the mornings and listen to the streets of Paris awaken below is quite something, as is the location of this home. The capital’s most iconic attraction, the Lourve, is just a few minutes away. After a morning at the museum, grab a coffee and take a stroll along the Seine River, before making a beeline for the nearby Le Marais district. Paris’ answer to London’s Soho, you’ll find medieval cobbled streets, independent boutiques, and artisan cafes awaiting. Pitch up for lunch somewhere sunny and get people watching.
