Or, if you don’t feel like cooking, there are plenty of excellent eateries right on your doorstep. You’re in Le Marais, after all – it’s one of Paris’ coolest neighbourhoods for a reason. Roam the pretty-as-a-postcard cobblestone streets, dipping in and out of independent boutiques, trendy art galleries, artisan coffee shops, chic bistros and gourmet brasseries. Must-see sights like the Louvre and Notre Dame are about a twenty-five-minute walk, and with Temple metro station just five minutes away, getting around the rest of the city is a breeze.
