Just a five-minute walk from Notre-Dame Cathedral, right next to the River Seine and surrounded by the lively Latin Quarter, this home is ideal for anyone looking to stay right in the heart of Paris. You’ll never be short of places to eat and drink with the Latin Quarter on your doorstep and it’s home to some of Paris’ finest indie bookshops (Shakespeare & Co, for one). Stepping into the apartment we were immediately won over by the river views from big windows. The sleek, chrome kitchen is set around a curved breakfast bar – the perfect spot for a morning coffee and croissant from a nearby bakery. A palette of pristine white and poppy-red keeps things fresh and interesting and we particularly love the built-in bookshelves above the master bed, especially with the city’s best bookshops on your doorstep.

* There’s only one WC in the home, which may cause some queues in the morning if the home is at full capacity
