Although this Parisian pad is pocket-sized, the attention to detail that has gone into the interior design really makes the most out of the space. We’d describe the atmosphere as sophisticated but charming – during our visit, we were blown away by the quality. Everything has been chosen with the utmost care, from the pink velvet dining chairs and sleek appliances to the super soft bed linen. Underpinning it all is a particularly chic backdrop of zig-zag parquet wood flooring, stark white walls and the odd burst of exposed brickwork. The whole space is bright and inviting, thanks to the French doors and Juliet balconies that look down to Rue Henry Monnier below.
Another thing we loved was the location. Pigalle is equal parts lively, trendy and historic. On your doorstep, you’ll find a number of chic eateries, clothes shops and a local bakery where you can grab a croissant and a cup of coffee before exploring. Just around the corner is Rue des Martyrs, one of the most emblematic South Pigalle streets, while nightlife and museums are a short stroll away. And if sightseeing is on your to-do list, you’re in luck – Sacré-Cœur is a fifteen-minute walk, Palais Garnier is reachable in twenty, plus there are multiple metro stations within easy reach when your legs need a break.
