Follow the morning sunlight out to the terrace, where you can linger (maybe a little too long, there’s no rush) over a cup of coffee as you stand awe-struck by that fabulous view – one which transports you back in time to the days of the Ancient Greeks as you gaze out over the sea surrounding Crete. Then the rest of the day is yours for loafing on the terrace, firing up the barbecue or tr, or simply spending some quality time together watching a family favourite or two on the flat-screen TVs.
Of course, staying in a holiday home affords you the freedom to get out and explore the highlights of the local area – so why not do just that?
