Holiday Home Rental Description

As a reasonably small city, Florence is easy to navigate by foot. Your apartment is perfectly placed in a central location to ensure you can get out and about and head to all the museums and galleries you could wish for. The building is typically Florentine and is nestled close to Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, making it utterly convenient. Apartment Spirito is ideal for parties of up to four people and contains two double rooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. It also contains two bathrooms with showers, one of which is ensuite. Enjoy the living space with a dining table and television, and rustle up your snacks in the fully equipped kitchenette. The conveniences you require for a comfortable stay are available, including Wi-Fi and a washing machine. You can also make use of the towel set and bed linen.
The neighbourhood you’re housed in is dynamic, lively and vibrant. It’s a beautiful setting where you can immerse yourself in the heart of Florence with all its vim and vigour and makes an excellent stop for a pair of couples, family or group of friends. Located on the first floor, you don’t need to worry about climbing any steps with your luggage! Cots can be provided, and pets can be brought if requested before your visit with prior consent from the owner.Apartment Spirito is decorated in a simple yet sophisticated style; as the name suggests, it has spirit. Artwork adorns the walls, and flecks of colour bring the space to life. It’s a very serene setting to return to after a day exploring the city. Wooden ceilings generate a feeling of wholesome warmth, and the flooring creates a sense of groundedness. There is plenty of communal space so you can eat together, play card games, drink wine, and watch the television as a group or in more minor pairs.
The first bedroom is spacious and offers simple luxury. A vast white column creates a sense of classic Italy. There’s also plenty of floor space for calming morning activities such as yoga. The simple colour palette pops to life with a splash of blue behind the bed. Cosy up and have breakfast in bed, freshly gathered from the central market, before stretching and going about your day. Angled lighting also makes reading or writing in bed a real treat if you feel inspired by the creative soul of the city. There’s also a large wooden wardrobe for storage and a small desk for working or creating.
The second room contains two single beds, a desk and a large wardrobe. A reading lamp makes it enjoyable to sit and read in bed. Stock your fridge with fresh produce and prepare an evening meal – fresh bread, a handful of pitted black olives, cheese, juicy ripe tomatoes, and perhaps even a glass of local wine. Exit Apartment Spirito down a quaint narrow street to plunge into Florence and begin your adventure.Italy is a famous country worldwide thanks to its expressive and hospitable people, tasty food, beguiling nature and evocative history and culture. For many, heading to Italy is like going on a delicious pilgrimage. In Italy, pleasure rules – here is a country to explore with the senses. History lovers and art connoisseurs head to the country all year long to take in the art galleries and museums. The birthplace of the Renaissance, the architecture is striking and prepared to flaunt itself at every step.
As a small city, Florence is easy to explore. You can leave your apartment, walk around and take it all in, whether you have a plan or not. In fact, just heading out and getting lost is an absolute joy. But of course, there’s a great deal to see and do if you prefer to feel prepared with an itinerary. Famous landmarks include the Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica. With a vast array of art galleries, we’d recommend the Uffizi Gallery, the Academia Gallery, Michelangelo’s David, the Pitti and Strozzi palaces and the Santa Croce and Santa Maria Novella Cathedrals. There are also many places to stop and treat yourself to a gift or pick up a souvenir for a loved one back home.
You can’t come to Italy and not explore the gastronomic opportunities here. Florence is a foodies city. Here you can find all your firm favourites, such as pasta, pizza and spoonfuls of tantalising gelato. But you can also try something more unusual and unique to the city itself. The central market is a must-see of the area, where you can wander, pick up fresh produce or eat. Everything you could dream of is here. It truly is a place of wonder. Sample wine, try some cheese and buy some gorgeous fresh bread, fruits and vegetables. This is one of the best places to immerse yourself in a world that blends locals with tourists seamlessly. There are also opportunities to make your own pizza, pasta and gelato, both in Florence and further afield, should you take a day trip. Why not take home some classic recipes?
In the tourist areas, you’ll find many restaurants clamouring for attention. These are usually more expensive and crowded but conveniently placed and almost always open. There are many restaurants locals frequent where you can enjoy more unusual dishes – many of which you’ll probably not have tried. How can you spot such a place? You might see the locals standing to eat, there’ll be particular opening and closing times (Italians value their leisure time greatly), and you may not understand the menu. Beyond Florence, why not take a day trip into the gorgeous Tuscan wilds, the beauty of Siena, the quirkiness of Pisa and the colour of Cinque Terre.
