And it would be remiss not to mention the games room with its pinball machine, table football, vintage fruit machines and stunning polished brass cash tills (try saying that one after a few negronis). When you’re finished perusing your home’s articles of virtu, whip up a torta di pere using pears plucked fresh from the home’s orchards. Find a quiet spot beside the pool or socialise under the gazebo. At dinner time, get the barbecue going and dine together on the patio, finishing the occasion with a digestif and your knockout dessert.
