Rent Apartment Microsoft Juniper Tuscany
Holiday Home Rental Description
Rumour has it that in the 16th century, Michelangelo stopped by this ancestral estate on his way to Rome. Impressed by the beauty and serenity of the place, he stayed here for a few nights – if it’s good enough for Michelangelo, who are we to disagree?
With such an illustrious past, it’s no surprise that this stunning apartment has been carefully renovated to retain its heritage. Although modern comforts are accounted for – including air conditioning, wi-fi, glossy bathrooms and desks for remote working – plenty of traditional character can still be found scattered about, from the vaulted Tuscan ceilings down to the terracotta tiled floor. Windows show off the scenery in every direction – the rolling hills, lush vineyards and view of the famous towers in San Gimignano are straight out of a painting. Even better, the garden features a communal infinity pool, where you can admire the vistas as you swim under the Tuscan sun.
Rustle up dinner in the compact kitchen when you’re feeling peckish – the Thursday morning market is excellent for stocking up on fresh produce. Afterwards, enjoy a glass of the area’s famous white wine on the sofa before snuggling up in the cosy bedrooms. When you’re ready to venture out, San Gimignano is ten minutes by car. The medieval alleyways fringed with eateries and local shops are perfect for a wander, while the Piazza del Duomo is an ideal spot to sip and espresso and rest your feet.
