When you’re done, dine alfresco on one of the various terraces, perhaps grilling up a Florentina steak on the stone barbecue. Indoors, you can dine, languish and sleep underneath swooping beamed ceilings and cosy brick arches.
And if you can tear yourself away from this enclosed sanctuary, there’s plenty to do in the nearby area. Witness sunsets on the sandy beach Spiaggia Le Gorette, just under twenty minutes away by car. Foodies will also enjoy the range of authentic Italian restaurants within the same distance – making for an excellent opportunity to sample the local cuisine. Speaking of local delights, some of the biggest vineyards in the entirety of Tuscany are under a half an hour’s drive away.
