This artful apartment in the heart of Rome is a real collector’s item. Stepping inside, you’ll find a perfectly balanced mid-century design alongside the home’s original structure – including the stunning granite floor. The retro-styled living space is like walking into a bygone 60s era, with vintage pieces and monochromatic prints adorning the walls. We really loved the traditional vinyl player in the corner. There’s a surplus of quiet reading spots to enjoy a good book in the afternoons – from the crushed-velvet armchair in the master bedroom to the industrial-chic chairs in the living room. And for those working from home during their stay, the cosy study area makes for a charming space to get your head down. Elsewhere, come together for family meals in the authentic kitchen and dining area with a modern twist. You’ll notice how all three bedrooms have their own unique personalities with rustic features and stylish artwork, so there’s no fighting over rooms (although we’d call dibs on the four-poster bed). Outside, the local Monti neighbourhood is a mirroring of what’s back inside the home, with a mix of traditional and bohemian elements, from hip bars to family-run trattorias. On top of that, this eclectic area of the Eternal City is home to one of the city’s most beloved sights: The Colosseum – only a thirteen-minute walk from your apartment.
