Set on a charming little square, Chocolate Peach is a cosy apartment with plenty of personality. The design is colourful, but not over the top, bright and airy. Stepping in to look around, you’ll notice quirky original design features such as the floral bird’s nest and butterfly wallpaper prints that we really loved. Play games, come together for breakfast and generally relax in the sociable open-plan living space, kitchen and dining area benefitting from lime green tones and light wood furnishings. Elsewhere, the elegant four-poster bed will have you sleeping like royalty, while each bedroom comes accompanied by an Italian-style, en-suite bathroom for that added level of comfort. Not only does this home offer cute-as-a-button interiors, but it’s also located under a twenty-minute walk from the Colosseum. And although Esquilino isn’t especially central, it is very well-connected to public transport (the nearest metro station is a five-minute walk away), and the neighbourhood itself bustles with the energy of local people going about their everyday business.
