Though if you do want to head into the heart of Rome, the closest metro station (Furio Camillo) is a two-minute walk away and you can reach the historic centre in around forty minutes on foot for the Colosseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
The apartment is in a classically-styled building of burnt sienna and green shutters. The interior is a soft palette of white, candyfloss and spring green in places, perfect for a quiet haven away from the bustle of central Rome. Long, floor-to-ceiling windows keep things sunny in the living room and the kitchen has everything you need to whip up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Though you may want to opt for the myriad restaurants, gelaterias and espresso bars in your neighbourhood.
