Light Bee captures a certain essence of Rome. If you want modernity and minimalism, you’re barking up the wrong tree here, but it’s hard to beat the history that comes with the brick arches, wooden walls and antique furniture. It all comes together to feel very welcoming, and there’s a real atmosphere about the flat. It doesn’t hurt that the Trevi fountain is two minutes away on foot. The terrace isn’t huge, nor does it have a view to speak of, but it’s pleasant for a bit of fresh air at breakfast, or even an aperitivo.

*If the house is full, then six people would be sharing one bathroom
*As you’d expect from an old place, there are a few marks on the walls, particularly on the wood
*The bathroom ceiling is quite low, and the shower is only 180cm high
*We were only able to get 8Mbps out of the wi-fi
*Two people can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room
