There’s plenty to see out and about if you can bear to leave this gorgeous home. Situated in the hub of the Port industry, Vila Nova de Gaia has lots of wine cellars offering tours and tastings, such as Fonseca Port Wine Cellars and Caves Cálem, an eight-minute stroll away. Afterwards, perhaps sample the scenic riverside cafes and restaurants along Cais de Gaia, under twenty minutes on foot or go for a boat trip on the Douro River.
