Rent Apartment Opal Boaboa The Boroughs
Holiday Home Rental Description
Kick back in old-town Charleston from this bright and open white clapboard single house in the leafy Cannonborough Elliotborough neighbourhood. We love how the large doors and double hung windows flood the living space with natural light and frame sunny green views, while the open-plan layout and wood floors shape the home as a whole. Soft neutral tones, dramatic spotlighting and a cosy Persian rug come together to create a soothing spot to relax with a glass of iced tea after a busy day. What’s more, there’s a sociable five-seater breakfast bar as well as a five-seater dining table for hearty pancake breakfasts together.
But as much as we adore the interiors, it’s the outside space that really caught our eye. Start with a cup of coffee on the terrace, overlooking the pretty pink rooftops and scenic neighbourhood, before spilling out into the backyard later on for a Southern feast around the dining table. It’s a beautiful planted garden, complete with a pergola, string-lights and multiple seating areas – it’s also soaked in sunshine all afternoon long.
Although, if you can peel yourself away from this private, one-size-fits-all home, vibrant King St is no more than twenty-five minutes away on foot, while the colourful Rainbow Row is an eight-minute drive from your door. Or if you’re after a fun-filled day down at the coast, catch a cab to sandy Folly Beach, just twenty-three-minutes away.
