Domed ceilings and bay windows add to the sense of space, with several living rooms, a dining room, and study to hang out in. Greek gods wouldn’t feel out of place in the master bathroom, a marble room with columns, a raised bath, and a separate wet room. Al fresco soaking can be done in the shimmering pool, which is guaranteed to cool you down on sticky southern afternoons. When you get hungry, fire up the barbecue, which is built into an outdoor kitchen with washing facilities and fridges to make cooking easier for groups. Sit and chat on the deck as you eat, or catch a game – there are TVs in most rooms, and even one on the patio. Golfers can tee off on one of the courses nearby, and if you hear the call of the ocean then the beach is just a short walk away.
