If you’re looking for a haven of tranquillity with impressive views to boot, then this home is perfect for you. It’s nestled into the brow of a hill with gorgeous vistas to Castle Santuiri and the mountains.
We love the marble floors, barrel-vaulted ceilings and exposed stone in this newly built villa. There are lots of individual touches, such as the table and chairs carved from gnarly tree trunks – the ideal spot for a glass of calimandria.
The large ‘L’ shaped living and dining room opens onto the terrace and is great for entertaining. Or fire up the barbecue and dine poolside (if you don’t fancy cooking, let your host arrange a private chef). The fabulous swimming pool has a children’s pool at one end and a jacuzzi at the other, so all the family is catered for. There’s a roof terrace too – perfect for topping up the tan.
There’s plenty to do out and about if you want to explore the island. Charming Portocolom is a fifteen-minute drive, as is the laid back and exclusive resort of Cala d’Or, where you’ll find a yacht marina and pine-fringed coves, as well as supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
