A private lift sweeps you to the third floor, where an entrance leads to the open-plan living room. Inside, whitewashed walls, chic furnishings, and plenty of natural light make this room a thoroughly attractive space. Take it easy on the sofa and chat with friends while admiring the mountain views through the huge glass doors, or enjoy a film on the television. There’s also a fireplace to keep things cosy on cooler nights. But when the sun is shining, you’ll want to push open the terrace doors and let the outside in. Added to the style are huge potted plants, contemporary artwork and modern lamp lighting. Overlooking the lounge is a neat dining table and a sleek kitchen designed with flair and equipped with all the appliances you’ll need to rustle up a delicious meal.
Off from the living area are three individually climatised bedrooms. Featuring a mix beds, all the rooms are light and airy and furnished in a delightful fashion with fitted wardrobes, soft throws and plump cushions adding to the style. And with a further ten golf courses within a 15-minute drive from the property, golf enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice here. Other activities on offer in this area include tennis, paddle tennis, and several gymnasiums.
Away from the golf courses, the Mediterranean shoreline is just a 10-minute drive away in Puerto Banus. The golden beaches are very popular and well-located and are good spots for swimming and sunbathing with their fine sand, crystal clear waters, parasols and sun loungers. Further east, towards Marbella, is the one km-long Playa de la Fontanilla, where you can relax in a hammock and gaze at Gibraltar Rock in the distance. Alternatively, hop aboard a yacht or catamaran and enjoy a day on the water.
After a day at the beach, shake the sand from your feet and browse the smart boutique stores, or dine at a Michelin-starred seafront restaurant. While in Marbella, be sure also to explore the old town with its cobbled streets, flower-covered balconies and historical buildings. Set back from the seafront, it is a charming place for a stroll and a bit to eat. Stop for a coffee in the Plaza de Los Naranjos (Orange Square) and admire the Moorish and Baroque architecture while breathing in the scent of citrus fruit from the surrounding gardens. While here, visit the Museum for Contemporary Spanish Engravings and admire the works of Miro, Dali and Picasso. While Marbella offers plenty to do and see, if you want evening entertainment, head 10 minutes from the villa to Puerto Banus. It’s a popular spot with partygoers and boasts a vibrant nightlife with numerous cocktail bars, nightclubs, and beach parties.
