Rent Apartment Dodger Mimosa Cornwall
Holiday Home Rental Description
In the woodland of a private valley, where the only sound is the rustling of trees and birdsong, you’ll find this magical elevated home. Made from oak trees which were planted to build ancient Cornish ships, the lodge blends seamlessly with its surroundings. Parquet floors and vaulted oak ceilings continue the effect inside, while large skylights and glass doors allow the woodland light to flood in. Wake up and step out onto the balcony to admire the sun-dappled trees, before enjoying a hearty breakfast on the deck. There are woodland walks in all directions, taking you to a babbling brook where deer drink from, or up to your private two acre meadow.
On sunny days, drive twenty minutes to the Roseland Peninsula, and frolick in the gentle waves on the scenic beaches, or follow one of the picturesque footpaths from the house that wind up at traditional country pubs. After a day exploring, throw a bottle of fizz on ice, fire up the barbecue, and relax in the hot tub as the sun sets over the valley. There is also a private sauna which can be booked in advance. With no neighbours nearby, you are guaranteed to be ensconced in peace and privacy. While it feels remote, civilisation is not too far away – the supermarket is an eleven-minute drive away, and just beyond that lies Truro, where you’ll find a range of shops, restaurants and local amenities.
