The magnificent, sprawling Casa Lilly is an absolute delight. With accommodation options, this elegant villa can sleep up to 14 guests in total with 6 in the main villa and the rest in two gorgeous suites. It is a brilliant choice for an extended family or several families. Casa Lilly is located in the hamlet of Malhao, 4km from the nearby village of Boliqueime and 12km from the coast. It is within easy reach of the popular towns of Albufeira and Vilamoura.
Occupying a large plot with beautifully landscaped gardens, two swimming pools and various terraces, Casa Lilly offers peace, tranquillity and privacy. There are stunning panoramic views from this delightful, privileged hilltop position. The beautifully decorated accommodation radiates elegance and comfort on a grand scale.
The villa wonderfully combines contemporary and rustic styles. Casa Lilly is extremely spacious with exceptional entertainment space. On the ground floor, you will be greeted with the fabulous split level living room, dining area, kitchen and cloakroom. The design is wonderful, with many arches and huge windows illuminating the whole area. Doors open to the terrace and garden.
The first floor is home to the master bedroom suite. It is fabulous with a blissful bathroom including a jacuzzi bath, dressing area and private sun terrace. Again, cool elegance is the feel and look of this room.
The remaining two bedrooms in the main house are on the lower level. They are both attractive twin bedrooms. One has an ensuite bathroom with a terrace, and the other has use of the independent shower room.
If there are more than 6 guests, one or both of the separate suites can be used. One boasts a double bedroom and a twin, both with ensuite shower rooms. The other also offers double and twin bedrooms. The double has an ensuite bathroom including a spa bath and shower and a private courtyard with a shower. The twin boasts an ensuite shower room and private courtyard with a shower. Both rooms also have a fridge which is useful for a pre-dinner chilled glass of wine!
The outside space of Casa Lilly is hard to beat. The breathtaking countryside vistas spanning the Monchique mountains across to the Atlantic Ocean are heavenly. The games room is atmospheric with its vaulted ceiling and offers TV, DVD, table football, pool table, card table and Playstation2 as well as a comfy lounge area. There is also table tennis, a heated 12m x 6m swimming pool and a solar heated 7m x 3m children’s pool to entertain guests. The covered dining terrace with built-in barbeque is perfect for alfresco dining, plus there are various covered and open terraces to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. The manicured lawns are illuminated at night and look very pretty.
Casa Lilly is the perfect relaxing retreat for large groups. It is also a good option for guests with mobility issues.

Casa Lilly offers privacy, space and tranquillity in its beautiful countryside location of Malhao. This delightful area of limestone formations is known for its wildlife, views and climbing. It is very popular with cyclists and hikers. The Buddhist stupa close to Malhao offers amazing panoramic views.
Close by the village of Boliquieme offers another rural slice of the Algarve surrounded by pine trees and almond groves. You can wander the cobbled streets enjoying the authentic village atmosphere and watching the locals play their regular games of dominoes.
You may also enjoy visiting the ruins of the Castle of Perderne, an old Moorish castle constructed in the 12th century. It was one of the last Moorish strongholds to fall to the Christians. Guia is famous for its delicious piri-piri chicken which is barbecued on charcoal and spiced with hot chilli sauce.
For a change of pace, the buzzy town of Albufeira is 20 minutes away in the car. Albufeira boasts a hedonistic nightlife, beautiful promenade, stunning cliff walks, a maze of cobbled streets in its atmospheric Old Town, world-class golf courses, water parks, zoos, high ropes adventure parks, boutique designer shopping and an ultramodern chic marina.
Just along the coast, Vilamoura offers no less than six renowned golf courses to keep golfers busy. The Algarve has a reputation as one of the finest golf destinations of the world. The Portugal Masters takes place every year at the Victoria Golf Course. Sports enthusiasts can also enjoy horse riding, football and tennis as well as the huge variety of watersports offered on the beaches. Cyclists enjoy the traffic-free tracks and paths and the fabulous views over the dramatic cliffs. Vilamoura also boasts a fantastic marina, two stunning beaches, wellness spas, an eclectic dining scene, trendy bars, beach clubs, professional DJ’s and a famous leading casino.
Guests may also like to visit the atmospheric, unspoilt Portuguese market town of Loule for some lovely souvenir shopping in the Arabic inspired market. Its Gothic Igreja Matriz Church is beautiful. Quinta da Tor is a great stop to taste some delicious authentic Algarvian wines together with delicious olive oil and bread. Alternatively, the Quinta da Miradouro winery near Guia offers the Vida Nova wines specially produced for Sir Cliff Richard. Tours are available but must be pre-booked. The delightful village of Almancil and its neighbouring village of Sao Lourenco are definitely worth a trip. The Sao Lourenco Church is one of the most attractive churches in the Algarve with characteristic blue tiles dating back to 1730 which tell the life story of its patron saint. Almancil is famous for its pottery.
