With an outdoor swimming pool and beautiful views to the sea, Villa Bom Vento encourages guests to spend time outside in the sunshine. Correspondingly, indoors, large glass windows allow natural light to flood in, enlivening the living spaces and creating a unique atmosphere where you can enjoy quality time with your loved ones. The furnishings are modern and simple throughout the villa, with large sofas, comfortable beds and all mod-cons to make your stay as comfortable as possible!
The main living spaces are connected by sliding wooden doors, allowing you to opt for an open-plan layout, or separating the spaces so you can enjoy some privacy from the group, or else shutting away any mess in the kitchen whilst dining together in the elegant dining room! The kitchen is fully-equipped, with a modern breakfast bar, so people can gather around as the nominated chef prepares some delicious meals.
Throughout the villa, there are three spacious double bedrooms and a large family bathroom. Each of the rooms has plenty of storage, as well as glass doors, so as soon as you awake, you can sweep open the curtains, allowing the morning light to flow in – there is no better way to wake up, other than maybe a dip in the private swimming pool!
The terrace can be accessed from a relaxed ‘chill-out’ space, with glass walls, that elegantly fold away, expanding the space out. With a comfy sofa and sun loungers adults can easily keep an eye on any kids splashing in the pool whilst sipping a glass or two of local Portuguese wine! 
Villa Bom Vento is located nearby the popular area of Praia del Rey. This is a perfect choice for keen golfers and sun-worshippers alike. It’s just seven hundred metres to the white sands of Praia del Rey, where all levels of a surfer can ride Atlantic waves but also attract competitors from around the world. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch a competition at Nazare or Peniche.
You can tee-off at the eighteen-hole championship golf course or book a massage at the spa, hire bikes or play tennis, all just a short walk from Villa Bom Vento.
The Silver Coast is known for being cooler and fresher than The Algarve, thanks to the sea breeze blowing in off the ocean. Famous beaches include Santa Cruz, Baleal and Nazare; all sharing Praia del Rey’s impossibly blue sea and glorious white sand.
During your stay, you have an excellent choice of day trips within easy reach of Villa Bom Vento. As well as a mecca for world-class surfers, Peniche is a hotspot for tourists wanting to visit the historical relics left behind since its time as a royal fortress and fishing port, the latter still active today. Be sure to sample the freshly caught seafood in a local restaurant at lunchtime.
Obidos, a small but charming town, is just eleven kilometres inland from Villa Bom Vento. A morning’s sightseeing can include a walk around the town walls, a visit to the twelfth-century castle and trip to see the beautifully tiled Porta da Vila chapel.
Also inland, Caldas da Rainha has been visited by tourists for hundreds of years, attracted by its natural springs and restorative hydrotherapy spa. A pretty garden and lake now occupy the site of what used to be a thermal hospital. Take in the Museu de Ceramica to learn more about Caldas da Rainha’s ceramics heritage before heading back to Villa Bom Vento.
