Just 2km from the Algarve’s Monte Rei golf resort, Moradia Aesuris is a stunning four-bedroom villa with breath-taking hilltop views of both the countryside and coast.  Perfect for summer or winter, this villa features a large, heated pool in a secluded location.
The house is located in Castro Marim, an area which adjoins the Spanish border around 40 minutes east of Faro Airport. The large and peaceful garden features a poolside terrace with seating and sun loungers, to which several of the rooms inside have direct access.
With air-conditioning throughout, the villa has four en-suite double bedrooms with patio doors and views of the countryside. This is also the case in the large living room, which has a comfortable seating area with satellite television and DVD. An open-plan kitchen and dining area are next to the living room, with all you will need for cooking and entertaining.
The villa is just a short drive from the nearest beach at Altura, around 8-10km away, where you will also find bars, restaurants and shops. There is more to discover in the city of Vila Real de Santo António, around 12km from Moradia Aesuris. The city offers excellent amenities and lies on the River Guadiana, getting you even closer to the border with Spain.
In the opposite direction, you can head towards historic Faro or the beautiful Ria Formosa National Park. Numerous fine beaches line the coast, including Manta Rota, Alagoa and Verde, offering golden sands and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Aside from golf, Castro Marim is also known for its ancient castle which offers dramatic views and has a number of shops, restaurants and amenities in the vicinity, all easily accessible from Moradia Aesuris.A historically important border town, Castro Marim in the eastern Algarve is perhaps best-known today for its golf course, but it’s a pretty and traditional town with much more to offer. The remains of its castle, dating back to somewhere around the 10th Century, form a local landmark which will give you an excellent view over the town and the nearby River Guadiana, which itself forms the border between Portugal and Spain.
This relaxed town has cafés, bars and restaurants to explore, and you may also see local craftswomen practising traditional crafts such as lace-making. A large area of land between Castro Marim and the city of Vila Real de Santo António is a nature reserve full of wildlife including flamingos, storks and various reptiles – a visitor centre at Cerro de Rocha can provide details of itineraries if you plan to visit.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
