The beautiful Villa Ferragudo was once the home of a royal princess and to this day still remains in the ownership of a Portuguese Royal family. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the bay of Lagos in the western side of the Algarve, it is the perfect choice for a luxurious villa holiday to Portugal. Situated over 3 levels, the villa can sleep up to 19 guests but can also be rented for a smaller group of 10 at a discounted rate. Villa Ferragudo has been completely refurbished and updated with modern facilities throughout to create a unique yet comfortable property. The original furniture has been restored to help maintain the traditional features and incorporate the family coat of arms.
The drawing room has patio doors leading to a lovely balcony with beautiful coastal views. The lower ground floor also has a bedroom, perfect for children with 3 single beds and leads directly out to the pool terrace.
Head outside and enjoy the various terraces with plenty of areas to relax, soak up the sunshine and admire the views. Take a dip in the private swimming pool or relax on the sun loungers.

The estate grounds slope down to a sandy beach with private steps leading down to the beach.

Staff
D.Regina (the housekeeper), arranges cleaning of the house on weekdays and has been employed at the house for over 25 years. There is also a gardener. Sr. Porfirio.-   Resident house keeper and gardener –   House cleaning on weekdays, from 09:30 – 16:30. Regina’s primary job is to clean the house and ensure the washing of the house linen. All bedrooms, public areas and bathrooms are cleaned and tidied once a day (weekdays).-   Gardener (Sr. Porfirio) from 09:30 – 14:00, on weekdays. Swimming pool and terraces are cleaned weekdays, from 07:00 – 08:00
MealsD. Regina or her staff may prepare simple dinners on alternate week days, with payment for time. Expenses are a local arrangement direct to her. Clients must shop themselves.
