Who hasn’t ever dreamed of making a break to a place which offers stunning views of the sea, and ready access to that very same coastline which in itself is but a mere 100 metres walk away from your villa. A sea which laps at your feet as you stand on the white sandy shores at whatever time of day or evening you choose to wander down to it.

And despite its suitably appealing private aspects, the property is just a 5 minute drive to Portimão centre and a mere 20 minutes from Lagos and its marina.
Villa Roseira’s interior is every inch as pleasing on the eye as its exterior vistas, not least due to a versatile open plan living area which faces out towards the pool. Each of the aforementioned five bathrooms comes complete with both tubs and showers, two of which are walk-in, while returning outside guests can sunbathe to their heart’s content, thanks to a choice of ten sunbeds. Not only that, but they can even request a portable barbeque (for a nominal additional charge), so as to immerse themselves in the complete holiday experience. Without hesitation described as being somewhat spoilt for the choice of beaches to hand, guests at Villa Roseira can almost explore a different beach every day, depending of course on how long their stay on this part of the Algarve is. That’s because the immediate surrounds are home to a collection of white sand and rock pool-dotted beaches indicative of Portuguese coastlines, with both Praia do Vau and Praia do Alemão recognised as amongst the region’s most popular destinations for sun-seekers.
Away from the coastal fringes, yet no more than a stone’s throw and holidaymakers are met by the characterful resort of Alvor, which comprises of a variety of shops which essentially cater for pretty much everything a family will need during their stay. However Portimão – a short journey eastward – and Lagos – a longer trip in the opposite direction – will ensure that those wanting for any more are obliged.
With regards to Portimão, its presence on the bank of the Arade river situated in the western Algarve has grown in more ways than one in recent years, and is on the cusp of attaining resort status in its own right in the not too distant future, thanks in no small part to its proliferation of hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, discos, clubs and shops.
Elsewhere, and much nearer to Villa Roseira itself, sitting on the dock of the bay has rarely been so enticing when the harbour setting in question is that of Alvor. Acknowledged far and wide as being nothing less than idyllic, holidaymakers can wile away hours simply by observing local life and times, as fishermen set out and return home with their daily haul of stock.
